1984 BMW E28 S38 'M5' Race Car
Price: £39,995 ono
Located: Oxford, UK
This stunning E28 5 series exerts so much nostalgia its actually quite hard to stand near it in person without quivering knees. Built as a nod to arguably the best decade of motorsport of all, an era of huge arches with manufacturers and sponsors throwing vast amounts of money at racing projects. Liveries adorned iconic machines that will be etched in your brain forever, just like the legendary Jägermeister stag and that bright orange. Designed with the intention of running in historic racing series in Europe we don’t think anyone would get bored of the attention this car would get in a paddock on any given race weekend.
Having been campaigned in the UK in the early noughties, the car had gone through a couple of owners since and was purchased requiring putting back together, having been in the barn of a classic BMW specialist. The new shell had already been acid dipped, electro plated, arches tubbed and multi-point cage welded in prior to purchase. The car was sent off to Coast2Coast Motorsport for the build up and they set about specifying parts for the car. The S38 M5 engine has the beauty of iTB’s combined with equal length race manifold, all mated to a Getrag 5 speed manual gearbox. The engine applies an Acusump system and produced around 360bhp, more than enough from the N/A six pot. Custom, solid mounted Gaz suspension was designed and manufactured whilst 750i Brakes help stop what is actually quite a light car for something that looks so big and aggressive thanks to fibreglass panels and poly windows. The interior was also made race ready with wrap around seats, flocked dashboard and digital dash. Zaprace arches and air dam combined with Wagner Tuning split rims make this car look as good as it goes.
Since its full rebuild and a second chance at being a fantastic race car, it has been featured in several BMW magazines but has seen very little track work. It was shaken down with us at Castle Combe by its current owners in 2021 on several occasions as well as a hand full of other circuits in the past couple of years having been a victim of COVID lockdown (no events), it remains in brilliant condition as is ready to use. The sale includes a strong history where it’s rebuild has been documented in photo form as well as having receipts and invoice for works completed. More images are available upon request. Viewing by appointment only. Can deliver at extra cost. Export assistance available. The owner is looking to race in another car this season so would like to offload this BMW prior to the season starting.
Car legal for racing in the following series:
2006 Citroen C2 VTS Track Car
Reg. no. FY06 EWO
MOT: Expired (Previously used for track only)
Located: Bristol, UK
Purchased as a standard car by a local motorsport enthusiast, this C2 VTS has had extensive modification for track use and is only a stone’s throw from being able to be used as a competition car. Fit a cage and extinguisher in which would give you a really good hot hatch racer or fit some of the available interior back in, stick an MOT on it for use on road rallies and Targa events. For MOT it would need washers refitting and horn which can both be supplied with the car, the car would also need a cat fitted.
Purchased in 2017 by the current owner with just shy of 66,000 miles, the only purpose of this car was as a track toy hence the lack of MOT, the last test was 2018, it has a clean history. The engine was built less than 1000 miles ago by PUG1OFF and setup by Northampton Motorsport to produce 180bhp at 8000 rpm. A 4.9 final drive and Gripper LSD (500 miles old) help put the power down on the track whilst a weight loss programme including Single skin fibreglass bonnet and tailgate help bring the car down to around 870kg’s.
The owner now feels it is time to slow life down and give up trackdays, the car is ready to be used and enjoyed with a vast amount more spent on it than it is priced at. The sale includes 2x sets of wheels, one set with R888’s and one set with NS2-R’s. There is also a good set of AR-1’s. Recent works in late 2023 included new clutch, diff seals, engine oil and filter change, new spark plugs and coil pack as well as drop links and a rebuild on one of the Gaz units. There are other spares included in the sale such as fluids, head light blanks and spare front pads. The car has extensive history including original service book full stamped up to 66,000 miles when it had a cambelt service. There are two folders of receipts for the cars time as a track car with invoice of all of the work carried out on the car. More images and a walk around video are available upon request. Viewing by appointment only. Can deliver at extra cost.

2014 Audi RSQ3

MOT: September 2024
Price: £14,995 Ono
Located: Bristol, UK
The RSQ3 is your typical Audi RS model. Fantastically fast, but comfortable enough for everyday use on your own or with the family. An even power curve mated to a 7-speed gearbox, Plush black leather interior with Bose sound system, Air Con, Heated Seats, cruise control and black roof lining. All the gadgets and creature comforts you can think of to enjoy daily driving.
This black example has been owned for the last year by a local couple, but having recently acquired a company car the Audi is no longer required. Both inside and outside are very clean for a car of this type, with just one or two blemishes on the paintwork. It drives very well hiding its age and weight with ease. The current owners had apple car play added during their ownership.
The car comes with full-service history including recently fitted discs and pads, a mix of official dealers and independent specialists paperwork. The car was last serviced September 2023 on just over 95,000 miles by Audi Swindon. This paperwork is included, as well as two keys. More images and a walk around video are available upon request. 1989 Toyota Celica GT4 ST165 #9752
Registration: G533 UFB
Mileage: 79,391 miles
Found in a dry barn in early 2023 near Chippenham, Wiltshire. This very rare homologation rally car was first registered as a UK car in August 1989, Supplied by Penndenis Toyota of Staple Hill, Bristol. it was run and taxed until 1996 when it was taken off the road and has been dry stored ever since. The family family acquired the car in May 1995. It has 6 previous owners on the V5C, three of the owners were from this same family as the car was passed down. These ST165’s are so rare that you will be unlikely to see one in the UK for sale at all, let alone in a solid, original state. Due to being dry stored the bodywork and underside has remained in fantastic condition. The underside of the car remains unrestored and still has its original chassis protection from factory.
A last year production model and one of the last 400 cars ever made of the ST165, on a Bristol registration it has never left the South-West UK and would have retailed at £21,477. According to the owner’s club there are only around 12 GT4’s currently registered on UK roads. So, if you are an enthusiast of homologation specials from some of the best years of rallying this is a great opportunity. As well as good success on the Rally circuit with some of the world’s top rally crews, the ST165 also won the 1987 IMSA GTO championship. In its period of world rallying, the ST165 took a stack of podiums and thirteen overall wins with Carlos Sainz taking the drivers title in 1990. Other notable drivers included Kenneth Eriksson, Juha Kankkunan, Bjorn Waldergaard and David Llewellin. The latter having great success in the British Rally Championship in a Group N car taking over 100 stage wins in 1990 and 1991.
Fitted with the first generation 3SGTE 16v turbo engine that was used in every iteration of the GT4 model and with AWD, these cars produced 182bhp and 184ft/lb from factory offering substantial performance for its era. This era of Celica was also announced as WhatCars favourite coupe for the year two years running, beating both the Audi Quattro and Porsche 944.
I have spent a large amount of money getting the car recommissioned but just as we need to do the last few jobs which are basically a little paint and MOT the engine is smoking and I’m out of time and money for this project. The car runs and drives but produces blue smoke. Engine was pressure tested cold at around 150psi across the board. I do have a spare correct Gen1 complete engine to include in the sale. So just needs someone to swap all the new engine parts I already had fitted or use one of the engines for a fresh rebuild. Only the rear bumper, option sunroof and mirrors need painting, the rest of the paint is factory and has received minor PDR treatment followed by a polish. The interior is very tidy and original as per the rest of the car. The work over the past few months has resulted in one of the most original and cleanest ST165’s left in the UK. Gearbox, brakes, electrics all work, pop up lights etc. Finished similar cars in Europe have been listed at £25k-£35k so there is plenty of room in this car.
Sadly, the original history for the car was lost at some point but a current V5C is present along with all paperwork from its restoration including labour and parts receipts. The correct spare alloy wheel and tool kit are also present.
The car has received the following parts and work since we pulled it from a dry barn in February 2023. Majority of parts have been supplied by GT4-Play the UK’s Celica parts specialist and genuine Toyota parts have been used where possible. Where required, Perished rubber pipes, nuts and bolts have been replaced. Thousands spent on restoration. Car is HPi Clear. More images and walk around video upon request. Can assist with shipping. Viewing by appointment. Happy to talk on the phone to serious bidders.

1999 Subaru Impreza WRX Type RA 555 WRC Limited 636/1000
Reg: T686 TVM
Mileage: 112,000 (Mix kms & miles)
MOT: May 2024
Price: £21,995 Ono
Located: Bristol, UK
The Type RA featured as a spin off from the WRX classic since the cars inception in 1992. Standing from race altered, these were lighter than the usual WRX and were often the cars used by rally teams to convert straight into competition cars. 1000 555 WRC limited were made in 1999 this being number 636. Unlike other RA’s, the WRC had electric windows and fog lights fitted. A unique change included the blue embossed front seats that matched that of the WRC car with the back seats remaining black. Usual RA features are present including the lower ratio 4.44 FD gearbox, alloy bonnet and the unique to the Limited 555 blue front seats. These cars produced around 280bhp from the factory which is more than enough for most to tackle British roads. This RA was imported in 2003 but does not seem to have been converted to miles until 2006 by which time it had covered 46,000 kms, putting the car at around 94,000 miles. The car has the correct chassis code for this edition as well as the correct engine and gearbox.
In 2019 this car was taken off the road for a full ground up restoration. AT services who are well known for Subaru underbody restoration did a full bare metal restoration on the underside of this car including painting subframes, arms and fuel tank as well as having all nuts, bolts and brackets plated. The car received cavity protection, full underside priming and blue top coat. The engine had a ground up rebuild in May 2023 by DM Motorsport to factory specification but with the addition of Wiseco forged pistons, Manley rods, ACL Race main bearings, Mahle big end bearings, RCM head studs and nitride crank as well as full Subaru gasket kit to ensure reliability. The block and heads were also refaced along with honed bores and recut valve seats. The car has also just received a full body respray so the whole thing presents in excellent condition. The only non-factory items on the car are the stainless exhaust system, new KYB AGX suspension with adjustable shocks, the best chosen replacement when restoring these cars, full poly bush kit, aftermarket radio and boost gauge. The car has also had a new full set of tyres fitted, calipers refurbished and the wheels painted.
As you would imagine it’s a joy to drive giving perfect response to the driver and still offering that feel of epic mechanical grip from the AWD drive system. With the low ratio gearbox it really cracks on through the gears. There are no issues to report. The car is offered for sale with history including paperwork such as engine build receipt as well as a digital album of restoration photos including the underside work and engine rebuild. A no expense spared restoration. One of the last classic shape limited edition specials of the Impreza and perfect for the collector or to be enjoyed for B-road blasts on weekends. More images and walkaround video upon request. Viewing by appointment only.

The R56, 2nd generation of the BMW Mini Cooper S switched from being Supercharged to twin scroll turbocharged in 2009. Cross spoke challenge wheels finish the sporty look of this popular Hot Hatch. This car was originally built by Team Winter in 2012/2013 and competed for two seasons in the Norwegian GT Series and Gatebil Extreme Series. It was brought into the UK some years ago and the current owners planned a full rebuild of the car with a plan to make it much lighter with more power. The project has since stalled and the car is offered in bits but with all parts available as well as an extensive spares package. It would make a fantastic track car or time attack competitor and may even be permitted in the likes of Masters Historic GT Legends pending approval.
The body features carbon panels including GT3 wider front and rear wings, carbon bonnet, aero front bumper and GT rear wing. The doors have been custom made and extensively lightened, the moulds for these doors can be included in the sale. A full poly window kit is also fitted. Brembo brakes are fitted with floating discs, Tein 2-way race suspension, rose jointed arms and whiteline supporting parts such as ARB’s.

2002 BMW E39 530D Manual Touring
Reg. no. VU02 EZK
Mileage: 89,000 miles
MOT: July 2024
Price: £5,995 Ono (Swap for Auto 4x4 or pickup truck with tow bar)
Located: Chippenham, Wiltshire
The E39 530D has stood the test of time with timeless looks, fantastic interior space and that legendary M57 6 pot diesel engine. Not only is this car a last year production model, but it also comes in rare manual, I am only the 4th owner from new, the first being the orginal owner and the 2nd being his wide after he passed. It has very low miles for this engine and car, less than 90,000 miles with these engines able to reach the 300,000 mark without much issue. The car spent 90% of its life in Hereford where it was purchased. The majority of its life it has been maintained by a BMW dealer or specialist using genuine parts. Being the manual, this car is free from swirl flaps in the engine and any potential autobox issues. Due its ag it is also free from a DPF system which can cause major issues on diesel engines.
Built in April 2002 this model included full electric windows, cruise control, climate control, self-levelling suspension, multi-function steering wheel and roof rails. Other options included smokers package, auto dip interior mirror, Isofix system, front arm rest, rear arm rest, business radio system, parking distance sensor, fog lights, rain sensor, auto air con and black grille.
I have owned the car for around a year but now looking to replace it with a 4x4 or pickup truck due to my change of circumstances. The car presents brilliantly due to its low miles and owners and has evidently been well looked after. The diagonal anthracite cloth interior is in excellent condition with no rips and minimal wear. The body is rust free and has received some recent paint to give it a tidy up which included upper drivers side doors, Passenger rear quarter and sill as well as the rear bumper. The car is Chiaretto-rot Metallic which looks like quite a standard red in dim light but pops orange in the sun. Unlike most E39’s this touring underside look to be in fantastic condition. The mechanicals are also in good order as the car has been regularly serviced and maintained.
This touring will do around 45mpg on long journeys so makes both the perfect daily, but also a future classic with very few M57 powered manuals existing, especially in this condition, with this mileage. The car comes with current V5C showing just 3 previous owners, 3 spare keys, The original wallet with BMW manuals including stamped service book, as well as a large folder of extensive history from when it was first sold including old MOT’s, tax discs, servicing and parts receipts. In my ownership the car has just had a brand-new tow bar professionally fitted, 4 recent Hankook tyres, recent paint to tidy the body up a little. I also had a new front calliper, new front discs and pads, a prop shaft doughnut and had a gearbox fluid change prior to me owning it, I also ust had the headlights cut and polished. More images and videos are available upon request. Viewing by appointment only. Please excuse my poor attempt at a winter wash for photos.
