Slip&Grip Support JWRC 2022 Battle
We are excited to announce that we are backing Northern Irish driver Jon Armstrong in his battle for this years Junior WRC title. The chance to support an up-and-coming driver on the world stage is quite a special moment and we are stoked to share the journey with you all as we head into the new season.
In 2022 JWRC has changed to the new AWD Rally3 Fiesta by M Sport Poland and the crews kick things off in just a couple of weeks’ time in Sweden. Jon took the runner up step in JWRC last season due to engine failure on a one of the rounds. But this year with a new Co-driver in the form of fellow Irishman Brian Hoy, the crew have high hopes of challenging for top spot over JWRC’s 5 round calendar.
Not only does this mean you will be seeing our logo on WRC livestreams and on a world stage. But it also means we get to offer our rally customers the chance for 1-2-1 instruction with a top-level driver. So when you next book one of our public test days or privately hire Bont Dolebolion Rally Stage in Mid Wales, You will also have the chance to book Jon Armstrong to sit by your side to help improve your driving ability and work on rally strategy.
We are also setting a very special Junior test date at Bont Stage for June. Where 8 under 25’s can come and spend the day with Jon on the stage and receive a full day of advice and instruction whilst tackling this fantastic 2.2 mile tarmac loop.
So hold on tight in 2022, its going to be a wild ride!
