Upon its release and beyond, the Integra DC2 was dubbed one of the best handling front wheel drive cars ever made. With its longer wheel base, factory LSD and mighty little B18C VTEC engine its was focused purely on driving. Weighing in at just over 1100kg’s, near on 190bhp and a 0-60 of just 6.2 seconds, it was a seriously impressive car. This car is build No44 for the UK DC2 and was registered in January of 1998. With build quantities for the UK cars knocking around the internet in various quantities but low numbers, it makes this car an early build number for what is quite rare car. Having had its PDI in Bristol in February of 1998 it then received it 6,000 miles service at Springfield Sunderland. It spent time in York and Aberdeen before more time back in Bristol.
The current owner has had the car since May 2024, during times when they were out of the country it has been stored in our facility, then enjoyed on weekends when back in the UK. With the owner now moving out of the country permanently, this unrestored but tidy example is looking for a new home. This car is at a time in its life where it can be used and enjoyed as is, and or lightly recommissioned over time to really bring it back to its former glory. If you have driven 90’s VTEC Honda’s you will know how well this drives. The Recaro seats and interior present really well for what is now a 28-year-old car. Equally the bodywork has kept in good shape with just some minor blemishes here and there, a crack on the rear bumper and some light surface rust on the inner lip of the rear arches. The wheels would also benefit from a refurb. Having been dry stored, the underside appears in really good order for a UK spec car.
The car has had the following upgrades and work since 2024 of which all could be reversed if you wanted a standard car:
HardRace Rear Lower Control Arms | Uprated Trailing Arm Bushes | Magnaflow 200cell Sports Cat | Skunk2 Alpha Exhuast Manifold | Fujitsubo RM-01A Exhaust System | Sony Head Unit | Audison Prime Speaker System | Exedy Stage 1 Clutch Kit | Lightweight Flywheel | New Suspension Arms & Bushes | Rear brake Calipers | Discs & Pads All Round | Brake Fluid Replaced | Transmission Bearings & Seals Replaced | Knock Sensor | Alternator Belt | Rocker Cover Gasket | Service Oct 2025
The car has a fantastic amount of history included which goes back to when the car was new. It has three sets of original keys with key fobs, one of which is the red key. The original Type R Wallet has all its manuals including a stamped service book, mostly by main dealers. Then a massive number of receipts and invoice from over the years where no expense has been spared on maintaining the car. Aside from age related bodywork imperfections, the passenger door does not lock on central locking, the engine splash guard is split and hangs lower then usual and the rear bumper has a bit of movement on one end. We have additional images available upon request as well as a walk around video. This car is sold on commission-based sale or return service on behalf of a private seller. Viewing by appointment only. We can assist with delivery and export if required.
