The Golf GTi has continued to be a great hot hatch since it was ear marked as the first ever hot hatch in 1976. As a result, they have been used as capable track cars by many. With later models doing hundreds of laps of the Nürburgring during their development, there is a pretty high chance they make an ideal car for lapping the longest and most dangerous circuit on the planet, just like this one has been with its most recent owner.

Having had 4 previous owners, the current owner purchased it near standard in 2019 and set about developing it as a ring car after catching the bug, creating a fantastic looking hatchback with a really strong specification. The car presents well with just some track rash to the front end and a couple of wheels. It drives well on the road but of course its setup for track use. Current owner reports he can do 5 laps of the ring in a row with minimal degradation. An ideal buy for anyone looking for a ready to go track car. The car has received an MoT not so long ago and an oil change recently. Consistently maintained to a high standard in line with its usage using high grade fluids. Owner selling due to moving to RWD.
