Over the past 8 years it has been developed and then driven sporadically in the Castle Combe Hot Hatch Series where it has achieved multiple race wins and countless podiums against large grids. The cars current PB at Castle Combe is an impressive 1:13 dead so if you want to own and drive this car you need to have a good idea of what a high-power front wheel drive hot hatch is capable of when it’s getting on for 300bhp and just 830kg’s with 20L fuel and drive onboard.

The car has been consistently developed up until 2024 when the owner decided to retire from racing. The engine as done around 600 competitive miles since rebuild and the extinguisher will need a service ready for the new season. There is a large amount of paperwork with many receipts of works carried out over the years. For the right purchase price, a spares package can also be included in the sale. This consists of six more OZ wheels, four of which have near new Avon wets mounted. There are spare gearbox internals and what the driver considered his emergency raceday package with such things as spare hub, pads, belts, alternator etc.  It does have V5C (4 owners) and registration so could be back on the road for rallying if you wanted.
