The discovery 2 was produced between 1998 – 2004 with both an Iconic V8 and the now iconic 5 pot TD5 diesel engine. This manual TD5 7-seater has had just 4 previous owners and has covered very reasonable miles. Originally sold by MJ Fews in Vienna green metallic with black cloth interior. This 4x4 has only done a few thousand miles a year in recent times and has recently undergone a fresh MOT and a service. Having a previous advisory on rear suspension mounting points this work has now been completed by a professional outfit. It drives really well with manual gearbox and TD5 engine in good order. We had previously sold this to a customer but they just don’t have to time to use it. It was gong to be used for green laning and has since had a set of 33” Nanking all-terrain tyres fitted. The old smaller tyres can also be included or we can arrange for the smaller tyres to be fitted.

Regularly serviced on an annual basis despite little mileage covered, serviced by the same garage for around the past decade. Other recent work has included ABS shuttle valve refurbishment, lower ball joint replaced, Front track rod end replaced, both rear drop links replaced.

This discovery comes with a good amount of history with parts receipts, work carried out and old MOT’s. No major rust on chassis but the rear chassis rails under the boot have separated slightly. As there is no lift kit the large tyres do scrub. Usual sunroof problems. The V5C is present. The sale also includes two keys.
