The Tipo, otherwise known as the Type 160 was a small Italian hatch back produced between 1988 – 2000 offering affordable motoring for modern families. The car was built on a fresh platform and made with all galvanised panels to avoid that characteristic 80’s Italian rust. It even won European car of the year in 1989.

This car is the S Action example and features roof bars, Electric windows and a sun roof. It’s presented in a deep metallic red with the only issue to report on the body panels being the sun damaged bonnet. According to the odometer the car has only done 25,000 miles from new which is backed up to 2005 by digital MOT and its service history. The car drives well for something that has seen very little use in recent year. The underside is in good order and remains solid. The interior is also in great condition.
