This Arden Blue Astra VXR was modified from a standard road car in 2017 and has covered around 15,000 miles in its current form with various changes and adjustments during that time with regular mapping updates, replacement parts and servicing. The engine was rebuilt again in 2020. In current ownership since 2021, the car has had very little use covering less than 1,000 miles with the owner too busy with work to enjoy it. This car is not for the faint hearted and sports a fully forged engine that ran 630bhp during mapping at 2.8bar.

The car presents very well all round with straight panels and just minor paint imperfections with some lacquer lift. The underside is in really good order for what is now a 20-year-old car with no report of rust on any previous MoT tests. Until you really put the power down it drives much like any other hot hatch on the road, but as soon as you press the loud pedal it really is a matter of holding on, even with brand new semi slicks fitted. The car does have a number of map settings on its Gizzmo controller to run lower power if you wish. The current owner runs it on map 4 of 6 which is 565bhp/462lbft at 2.1bar of boost. As well as brand new tyres its also just received a full service. Looking at the large history file it has been serviced regularly throughout its modified life. The car has been used on track a couple of times and achieved a top speed of 171mph. An ideal drag car, fast road car or stick a cage in it to embarrass expensive machinery on trackdays. The car has been static noise tested and passed at Castle Combe. You will struggle to find another car with this power for this little money.
