The French have often been at the forefront of creating some of the best hot hatches of all time. The Clio 197 continued that trend in 2005. It featured 6-speed gearbox, motorsport derived aero and 194bhp from factory.

This particular example is a perfect entry level road legal track car with some great basic upgrades and features possibly the best colour the 197 came in, Racing Blue. Upgrades include Miltek exhaust system, Ktec Induction Kit, Brembo brakes with braided lines and Mintex pads, Gaz coilovers, Toyo R888 tyres, Poly engine mounts, Bimarco Futura Buckets seats with adjustable seat mounts and Luke harnesses along with track car door cards and OMP steering wheel. It also features a short shifter. Exterior upgrades include a cup splitter, sills and rear spoiler. The car drives well on and off road with the perfect power and handling combination that we have come to expect from French hot hatches.

The car comes with fresh MOT and has just had a new battery fitted. There is a good amount of service history with bills of essential works over the years. It had a gearbox rebuild, Clutch kit and slave cylinder at 89,000 miles.  Timing belt and water pump was done at 61,000 miles.
