The Special Edition F1 Team R26 Megane was built to celebrate the success of the Renault Formula 1 team during the early 00’s. With its rarer R26R counterpart already in modern classic status, these are well on their way as well. With 225bhp and a decent handling platform these are known as one of the better handling hot hatches of its era. The R26 also featured a factory LSD, Brembo brakes and revised suspension over its 225 F1 relation. This being build number 2012 according to its plaque and seat frames, the car has had just 4 previous owners.

This example in black has been stored with us for a number of months in our secure, dry facility but the current owner has decided to focus on his racing this year so wishes to part ways with this French hot hatch. The interior is nice and clean, featuring Recaro seats and the body work is in equally impressive condition. The car drive great with the engine pulling well and the 6-speed manual gearbox working as it should.

The car comes with strong history with lots of paperwork in a binder, as well as two keys.  It was last serviced in August 2023 which included a general service as well as Cambelt kit, Water pump and auxiliary belt replacement, all done by Renault performance specialists, K-Tek Racing.
